Parties doing homework to topple govt: Koirala
GORKHA, FEB 01 -
Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala has said that the political parties minus UCPN (Maoist) have been doing homework to topple the government.
Koirala said, "NC and CPN-UML have been assisting the Baburam Bhattarai-led government to conclude the peace process responsibly but it has failed to give logical conclusion to the twin tasks, thus, the parties have been doing homework to topple the government."
Speaking to the reporters in Gorkha headquarters on Wednesday, Koirala accused the Maoist of breaching peace process by ignoring to implement past accords.
She said, "Because of this situation, the NC, the UML and the Madhes based parties have been doing homework to change the government."
She said, “The new government should be formed under the NC’s leadership.”
Also on the occasion, Koirala said the decision taken the Maoist parallel government to legalise war-ear dealings and to information classification directive was against the accord.
“This government has been moving unilaterally, thus, we have also moved ahead in our own direction,” Koirala said.
She added, "This government will not last long."
