One dead, 16 injured in Dang accident

DANG, JAN 30 - A person died and 16 others injured in a bus accident at Dang on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Maya Dahal, 36, of Narayanpur-3. KC died on the spot police informed.
A micro van bearing registration number plate BA 2 KHA 5446 en route to Nepalgunj from Dang overturned at Masota along the Ghorahi-Lamahi road stretch.
Jaya Gharti Magar, 5, of Laxmipur-1, Indra Bahadur Bhandari, 20, of Rukum Khandala-8, Maan Bahadur BK,60, of Bijauri-3, Jam Bahadur Sunar,35, of Hapur,Balendar Kumar Singh, 28, of India,Samsher Pun Magar, 71, of Rattan Pur Municipality-11 of Ghorahi,Yek Raj Gharti, 26, of Laxmipur-1, Kamala Pun,16, of Ghorahi Municipality, Dal Bahadur Pun Magar, 41, of Bhrikuti Nagar 11, Gorahi, Dambar Kunwar, 22, of Khaskhusma, Banke, Sudan Bhusal, 23, of Narayanpur-1, jharibaira and Naresh Dhoj Shahi, 45, of Ghorahi municipality 10 were critically injured in the accident.
All the injured have been referred to Nepalgunj.
The other injured have been undergoing treatment at Rapti Sub-regional Hospital, Gorahi.
