No agreement with Maoist: Koirala
DANG , JAN 29 -
Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala said that his party would not make any compromises with the UCPN (Maoist) if it is not going to strictly abide by the seven-point agreement.
Unveiling the statute of martyr Shree Narayan Chaudhary at Maurighat in Dang district on Saturday, Koirala said that Maoist cannot be trusted as they did not abide by the seven-point agreement.
NC president complained that the Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal has been putting off his suggestions like returning the seized properties, dissolving the paramilitary structure of the YCL, and integration of the Maoist combatants and their arms time and again.
He said the Maoist cannot be trusted until the arms and the PLA combatants are integrated and the government withdraws its decision of legalizing the land transactions carried out by the parallel administration of the Maoist during the conflict period.
NC Central Committee member Khum Bahadur Khadka said the Maoist is not interested in concluding the peace process. RSS
