Khanal demands PM's resignation
DANG , JAN 27 -
Chairman of the CPN-UML Jhalanath Khanal demanded resignation of the Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai saying the peace and constitution-drafting process has been stalled due to the working style of the government.
At a press meet organized in Dang district today by Press Chautari Dang, Khanal said, “Resignation by the PM is the only outlet to the current problem. PM Bhattarai should clear the way for the formation of consensus government by tendering resignation.”
Khanal further said, “It is not apt for the Prime Minister to make remarks that the consensus government will also be formed under own leadership instead of resigning from the post.”
Khanal arrived in the district on Thursday evening in course of the UML seventh Rapti zonal level leaders and cadres training scheduled to take place in Ghorahi from today.
Party secretary Shanker Pokharel accompanied Khanal in the event. RSS
