Maoist backtracked from past accords: Poudel
KATHMANDU, JAN 26 -
Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Poudel has said that the (UCPN) Maoist has backed from the Comprehensive Peace Accord and the seven-point agreement signed among the major political parties regarding the power-sharing.
Leader Poudel reasoned that the Maoist leaders' reluctance to withdraw the land dealing transactions made by the people's government has shown that the former rebel party is unwilling to complete the peace process.
Poudel said so while talking to media persons following the Legislature-Parliament meeting today.
Poudel also ruled out the possibility of dialogues and consensus with the Maoist saying that the latter backtracked from its previous commitments. RSS
