KHOTANG, JAN 25 - An inebriated son beat his mother to death at Nunthala VDC-3 in Khotang district on Tuesday. Tarjan Rai, 34, severely thrashed his mother Nirmaya Rai, 66, with a bamboo stick at around 6 pm, police said.
The victim had died on the spot. Police have arrested Tarjan and initiated an investigation into the matter.
