Six persons were killed and nine others injured when a tractor overturned at Bhaisahi along the Lamahi-Ghorahi road in Dang district on Wednesday evening, police said. Among the injured, seven persons sustained serious injuries and they were taken to Nepalgunj for treatment. The victims were said to be from a place called Banjadi of Laxmipur VDC of the district.
The accident took place at around 8:30 pm as they were returning home after attending a wedding. Police said most of the victims were crushed by the vehicle.
