Santosh Gurung, 19, son of Dhan Bahadur Gurung of Manbu-1 of Gorkha district, committed suicide by jumping off 2,000 metres high Bhalchok cliff, Manbu Police Post said.
He had left home at 6:30 pm on Sunday evening, leaving his meal half way, clearly saying that he would go to die, said Principal of Bhawani Higher Secondary School, Ratna Prasad Pudasaini.
He was not found in the evening as it was dark and was found dead under the cliff this morning.
The youth had drunk a lot for failure in love and had told his friends that he would die, said one of his friends, Deepak Gurung. RSS
