SUNSARI, JAN 23 -
Six members of a single family have been killed when hit by at speeding truck at Pakali of Sunsari district on Monday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Krishna Raut, 67 of Pakali-3, his wife Tara, 62, elder son Baburam, 42, daughter-in-law Sarada, 32, daughter Kamala, 28, and grand daughter Silu KC, 7.
The truck (Na 4 Kha 796) hit the family members who were standing along the roadside to see off Kamala and Shilu at around 5.30 this morning.
Meanwhile, police have impounded the truck. However, the truck driver is still at large.
