BARDIBAS, JAN 23 -
A dacoit was killed and two others were injured in villagers' retaliation last night in Mahadaiya Tapanpur VDC of Mahottari district.
A man of around 25 years old was killed in the retaliation when the dacoits broke into the houses of locals Ramdhyan Yadav and Dinesh Yadav. Identity of the murdered has not been ascertained yet.
Ram Ekwal Paswan, 45, and Jaya Prakash Paswan, 40, of Devdiya VDC of Dhanusha were seriously injured in the incident.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Mahottari, Kedar Khanal said the two are receiving treatment in Janakpur Zonal Hospital.
The gang of dacoits looted properties worth Rs 500,000 and left the local Dharohi Devi Yadav injured by attacking with spears. RSS
