ITAHARI, JAN 22 -
A gang of masked men robbed cash and valuables worth over Rs. 800,000 from a house at Itahari Municipality-8 last night.
The gang barged into the house of Indra Prasad Acharya around midnight and took the family under control and made off with the valuables. The assailants carrying pistol and other home-made weapons threatened to kill the members of the family if they cried for help.
Acharya said the gang looted gold ornaments, Rs. 150,000 cash and two mobile sets, among other valuables, from the house.
Police said a search is underway to nab the assailants. RSS
