SAC forms four subcommittees
KATHMANDU, JAN 03 -
The State Affairs Committee of the Legislature Parliament formed four sub-committees to submit report on contemporary issues after detail study on Tuesday.
The SAC meeting held today formed a sub-committee to study the status of historic weapons under the coordination of CPN-UML lawmaker Pradip Gyawali and sub-committee to recommend and make suggestions on traffic management under the coordination of Nepali Congress lawmaker Arjun Prasad Joshi.
Likewise, UPCN (Maoist) lawmaker Pampha Bhusal has been appointed the coordinator of sub-committee to study promotion and transfer in security bodies and a sub-committee to study violence against women, Dalit and domestic violence has been formed under Rastriya Prajatantra Party leader Prativa Rana.
The subcommittees have been directed to submit the report to the SAC within two months.
