PM Bhattarai says he won't quit
BIRATNAGAR, JAN 03 -
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai on Tuesday said that he would not quit just because some people told him to do so.
Inaugurating a convention in Biratnagar today, Bhattarai said, “The present government would not resign without concluding peace and constitution.” Claiming that the present government was formed to complete the pending tasks of the constitution and peace process, he said that the present government would finish what it has started.
Bhattarai claimed that the present government has done a lot for peace and constitution within the past three months; which the former governments has failed to accomplish. He said that the people have trusted this government; therefore, it would not dissolve for some alleged rumours.
Addressing the entrepreneurs and industrialists present in the convention Bhattarai said, “Do not believe in rumours. Bring concrete proposals; I am ready to join hands with you.”
Saying that the nation could not experience much development because of political instability, PM Bhattarai requested the entrepreneurs to invest more on productive areas.
PM Bhattarai, who had reached Biratnagar on Monday, held talks with the security in-charges on Tuesday. Similarly, Bhattarai also attended some programs organised by the UCPN (Maoist) party office.
Bhattarai returned to the Capital today afternoon.
