Police have seized a Tata-sumo jeep with Indian number plate that had escaped after killing a minor.
According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Ganesh Bahadur Thapa, police seized the jeep (BR OIPC 8646) which was hidden in a garage in Lahan.
Police have expedited search for the driver, added Thapa. The seized jeep has been kept at the District Police Office.
Five-year-old Chandrika Kumari Chaudhary, daughter of Hari Narayan Chaudhary of Pansera-6 of Saptari district died on the spot on Sunday after the jeep hit the minor along the East-West highway. RSS
