‘Party dispute surfaced after joining government’
PALPA, DEC 31 -
UPCN (Maoist) Spokesperson and Minister for Education Dina Nath Sharma has said that party's internal dispute was further fueled after the party joined the government and expressed his belief that it would be settled from within the party.
Speaking at an interaction organised by Palpa chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) on Saturday, Sharma said the party has been infected by the ‘virus’ and it would be cured by doctor’s (Baburam Bhattarai) and Baidya’s (Mohan Baidya) in the party. He maintained that the virus was infected due to some of the Maoists running after international powers.
Stating that those who were choosing the path of revolution by splitting the party were evil minded, Sharma added that they would loose their identity if they try to split the party. He alleged that the Maoist party was still united in ideologies and would not split due to some minute differences.
Sharma also said that the present government had given momentum to the process of statute drafting and forged consensus in the disputed issues among the political parties.
On the occasion, Sharma opined that the quality in education in the country was not improving because the sector was lacking some concrete education policy. Sharma also stressed on the need of providing practical and technical education so as to produce skilled manpower which could compete in international levels.
