BARA, DEC 31 -

Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal claimed that he compelled the UCPN (Maoist) to change its revolutionary inclination.

Speaking with the media persons at the Simara Airport, he said that the Maoist, which claims to have initiated a ‘people’s revolution’ to overthrow his government, have been forced to come to agreement with the other parties.

Furthermore, Nepal claimed to have initiated the peace process by forging agreements to bring the Maoist cantonments under the coordination of the Special Committee. Adding onto the matter Nepal said that the present government was a failure as it has not been able to focus on peace and constitution.

Moreover, senior leader Nepal claimed that constitution would be promulgated within the allotted time if the parties work in unison.
