Gold dealer Diyale's killer held
KATHMANDU, DEC 25 -
The mastermind behind the murder of gold dealer Harka Bahadur Diyale in Kapan, Kathmandu was arrested from Chitwan on Sunday morning.
Police held Shambhu Chaudhary at Godrang from a bus while he was heading for eastern region. Chaudhary was arrested based on the information provided by two culprits arrested earlier in connection with the same crime. Prem Sunar and his helper Shankar Ghising have already been arrested by police. They had given the statement that Chaudhary had shot dead Diyale on Friday evening.
Diyale, who was shot and injuried at the Mata Manakamana Gold and Silver Shop at Milanchok of Kapan, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, gold silver entrepreneurs shut down all the jewellery shops across the country in protest of the series of murders of gold-silver entrepreneurs.
Earlier, looters had killed a worker of the Guna Jyasa Gold Shop in Pulchok recently.
