The Samyukta Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha (Pawan Group), an underground armed outfit in Terai, has been ready for the second round of talks with the government.
Coordinator of the Morcha Pralhad Giri organised a news conference in the district Saturday morning to announce the second round of talk. Talking to the media persons, Giri said the Morcha was ready to settle the Terai Madhesh problems through dialogue following the call from the government's side.
Earlier, the Morcha held first round of talks with the coalition government led by the Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist) Pushpa Kamal Dahal. However, they were forced to continue the struggle as the latter governments were not serious for the talks, said Giri.
He added that his group was ready to join mainstream politics handing over its arms to the state if the government became ready to settle their problems through dialogue. RSS
