TATOPANI, DEC 21 - Deputy Superintndent of the Armed Police Force (APF), Harkaraj Panta, was arrested in Dhulikhel in Kavre on Wednesday with contraband items smuggled from China.
Panta, who had been transferred to Chitwan after his posting at the Tatopani border for six months, was held with two vehicles laden with contraband goods, including 761 sets of mobile phones. Panta has been taken to the Capital, where he is in custody, an officer at the Revenue Investigation Department said.
