An impersonator, who created fake Facebook accounts of girls and used it as a ruse, has landed in prison.
Shyam Prasad Timilsina, a 12th grader at Cambridge College, Kalanki, was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Crime Division on Monday. The 21-year-old of Kavre had created Facebook accounts of girls of his acquaintance and posted illicit videos. Timilsina had even added friends and relatives of the girls in the fake accounts as friends and posted low-down contents.
After a number of complaints about fake accounts, police traced Timilsina on Monday. The offender had even posted the girl’s mobile phone numbers into the account information section and had used free short-messaging service SMSes to forward crude messages to various girls.
