KATHMANDU, DEC 19 -
Rishi Maya Poudel, mother of Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel, passed away on Monday morning. She was 88.
NC has passed a condolence motion on the death of Poudel. UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal telephoned Poudel and expressed condolence over her death. She was survived by five sons and four daughters.
Meanwhile, leader Poudel has been preparing to reach home in Chitwan despite the strike called by his own party.
