Parties to hold intra-party meet on disputed issues
KATHMANDU, DEC 10 -
In an attempt to draw common grounds on the disputed issues of Constitution drafting, political parties are due to hold intra-party meet before vying for the consensus on the same.
The meeting of The Dispute Resolution Subcommittee under the Constitutional Committee (CC) Saturday morning pointed on the magnitude of ironing out differences within the party for coming to terms on the disputed issues.
The meeting has made an action plan to hold the discussion within the committee and the CC once the political parties sort out the intra-party differences. Political parties are expected to make their stance clear on the disputed issues after the meeting.
The major political parties are yet to agree on the electoral system, forms of governance, and state restructuring.
