KATHMANDU, DEC 10 -
Former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal returned state-owned vehicle on Saturday.
Dahal also the UCPN (Maoist) Chairman returned Prado Jeep (Ba 5 Cha 1029) of Chameliya Hyderopower Project at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) this morning.
According to Dahal's Personal Secretary Samir Dahal, the ex-prime minister returned the jeep to Lila Mani Poudel, secretary at the PMO.
Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bam Dev Gautam, UML leader Bhim Rawal have also decided due to return the government vehicle.
The SC on Thursday had issued a directive to the government asking it not to provide various ‘illegal’ facilities to former PM’s, ministers, and members of the royal families. The court had further directed the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority and the Office of the Auditor General to monitor the implementation of the decision.
