‘No alternative to consensus among parties’

POKHARA, DEC 09 - President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said that there was no alternative to consensus among the political parties for the establishment of national unity in the country.

Inaugurating the Osho Upaban at Dobilla in Pokhara on Friday, President Yadav urged all to join hands together to lead the nation towards development.

He also urged all to cooperate in the peace process as the nation has been craving for peace for a long time.

Also on the occasion, the president underscored the need of yog, meditation in everyday life. He added that Nepal is renowned in the world because of Lord Buddha's peace messages.

Following the inauguration, the president attended another inauguration programme at the Kalika Public Campus in Pokhara.
