KATHMANDU, DEC 05 -
The Constitutional Committee (CC) of the Constituent Assembly has endorsed the proposed calendar that stipulates to promulgate a new constitution by May 28, 2012. The calendar okayed by the UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led Dispute Resolution Subcommittee last week was presented for approval in the CC. The full committee made minor linguistic amendments to the calendar and passed it in Sunday’s meeting, said CC Secretary Tek Prasad Dhungana.
