JHAPA, DEC 03 -
Three people have been killed and other 18 injured when a jeep collided head-on a bus along the Mechi highway Saturday morning.
The bus (Na 4 Kha 6120) heading for Jaamun Khaadi of Jhapa from Ilam collided head-on a jeep (Ra 1 Pa 166) coming from the opposite direction at Kolbung at around 8 this morning.
The locals of Ilam Municipality-9 were on the bus who were heading for a picnic.
The deceased have been identified as Rajan Rai and Mira Neupane. The other deceased identification is yet to be ascertained. They were the passengers of the jeep, sources confirmed.
