Locals have disrupted the vehicular movement at Balefi and Khadichaur along the Arniko Highway from Friday morning demanding compensation to the family of those killed on Wednesday’s road accident.
Relatives and locals have been demanding compensation to the family of motorcycle rider Balaram Tamang and pillion rider Uddhav Shrestha who were killed in the road accident on Wednesday.
Hundreds of passengers have been left stranded along the highway since this morning due to the obstruction.
The duo was killed when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a van. Another one was critically injured in the accident.
