Cadres of Tharuhat Nepal vandalized and set fire on two trucks in Dang district this morning.
According to District Police Chief Ganesh Bahadur Ayer, the activists set fire after vandalizing the trucks (Na 2 Kha 8548 and Na 2 Kha 9541), en route to Tulsipur from Birgunj, at Patrekhola along the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road section.
Meanwhile, traffic in the district resumed after only 11 in the morning when the government and the Tharuhat leaders reached an agreement to stop the protests.
The Tharuhat Nepal and other fringe parties had called the banda putting forth the demands of dissolving the Constituent Assembly, among others. RSS
