KATHMANDU, NOV 25 -

A meeting of the top brass leaders of the major three political parties—Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML and UCPN (Maoist)—is scheduled to take place on Friday afternoon to decide on the extension of Constituent Assembly (CA) term.

The meeting will held discussion on the issues related to the seven-point agreement on peace process, the CA term extension and issues related to State Restructuring Commission, among others, sources confirmed.

Earlier on Thursday, the Maoist had stressed to extend the CA term by six more months.

However, the NC and the UML had said that the term can be extended by three months only.

The meeting will be held at 4 at the Peace Ministry in Singhadurbar this afternoon.
