No alternative to implement property return decision: Sitaula

KATHMANDU, NOV 20 -
General Secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC), Krishna Prasad Sitaula has said there was no alternative to implement the decision of returning seized property to the rightful owners so as to bring the peace process to logical conclusion.
Talking to RSS in brief, NC leader Sitaula made this remark before his travel to Kailali with the UCPN (Maoist) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal as per the government’s decision to enforce the Maoists to return the seized property as per the seven-point deal signed among the political parties.
‘All the stakeholders should actively engage to effectively enforce the deal recently signed by the political parties regarding the return of seized property’, he further said.
The major issue of the peace process is the return of seized property and that the task of constitution drafting will move ahead after this, he clarified. RSS
