Jumbo Cabinet a burden: Khanal
KASKI, NOV 17 -
Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN-UML Jhala Nath Khanal have said that the government led by the UCPN (Maoist) was a burden for the people, and claimed that the government would fall immediately.
Khanal expressed this view while inaugurating the Gandaki Zonal level cadres' gathering at Pokhara City Hall organized on Thursday by the party.
He further said, "A jumbo cabinet headed by Baburam Bhattarai is a burden for people, so it will fall immediately because people can not sustain this".
Blaming the government was indifferent in implementing the seven-point agreement, Khanal said internal disputes surfaced in the Maoist party will hamper the implementation of the agreement.
National consensus government for the peace and constitution that was sought by his party was a need of the day, Khanal said.
He said peace and constitution would not be completed unless national consensus government of all parties was formed.
Indicating to the planned address by KP Sharma Oli in the same gathering, Khanal said this was the end of differences within the party from Pokhara.
More than 700 leading workers of the party had participated in the gathering. RSS
