'CA term should be extended by six months'

BIRATNAGAR, NOV 17 -
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadhar Thursday opined that the deadline of the Constituent Assembly should be extended for the last time by six more months.
He underscored the need to extend the CA tenure citing the urgency of time to draft new statute along with concluding the peace process.
Gachhadhar who is also the chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Lotantrik said CA's significance should exist till the peace process is taken to a logical conclusion and promulgation of new statute.
Gachhadhar reached Biratnagar to inaugurate Purbanchal Mahotsav, to be kicked off from today.
