Minister Jha calls on armed groups for talks

Minister for Industry Anil Kumar Jha has called on all the armed outfits in Terai region to come for dialogue.
Speaking at an interaction organised in Parsa on Thursday, Minister for Industry and Chairman of the Sanghiya Sadbhavana Party, Jha urged the armed outfits to give up the violent activities and resolve all problems through dialogue.
He said the government has been working for developing the dry port based in Sirsiya VDC of the district into a food market. He added that government has been doing homework to develop the Bara-Parsa Industrial corridor to a special economic zone.
On the occasion, he said the government has formed a monitoring team under the coordination of Vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission (NPC) and that the team will submit its report within 15 days and assured the government will take concrete steps to resume the closed industries.
Meanwhile, a team of representatives from Birgunj Chambers of Commerce and Industry met Minister Jha and informed about the problems of industries in Bara and Parsa districts. RSS
