KATHMANDU, NOV 15 - Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal Tuesday remarked that no one can hinder the conclusion of peace process.

He also expressed his confidence about the completion of the peace process at the earliest.

Speaking at a programme at Chungmang in Dhankuta district, Khanal said that the latest consensus among the political parties has raised the hope for the completion of the peace process.

On the occasion, Khanal stressed that the Maoists should strictly implement all the agreements it signed so far.

Leader Khanal maintained that the transitional period in the country would soon come to an end and the country would go through a period of economic revolution following the completion of the peace process and constitution drafting.

Khanal also remarked that the country will be made a poverty-free nation by utilizing available resources and promoting tourism.

He also said that the new constitution would address the emotions and sentiments of all the castes and ethnic groups in the country.

Khanal was on his way to Chintang in the district to participate in Chintang Smriti Diwas marked in the memory of 15 local people who were killed from the state side 1979 for carrying leftist ideologies.
