Present govt temporary: Oli
KANCHANPUR, NOV 14 -
Member of the CPN-UML Standing Committee KP Sharma Oli has said the present government is a temporary thing like mushroom grown in August.
Addressing a workers training programme organized by the party in Kanchanpur, he said we cannot expect anything from the present government.
He said that the UML has been playing a supportive role in the peace processes and constitution even from outside the government, and added that it will not make any difference even if a coalition government is not formed.
Indicating to the UCPN (Maoist), he said it was not certain where the Maoist would fall as it was continually sliding down.
“Maoist has already deviated from its ideology,” the UML leader said, adding “The ‘Prachandapath’ is just a ball of ice”.
“Maoist party has been insulting and neglecting its own fighters who had fought in the people’s war,” he said.
On the occasion, Oli asked if the Maoist combatants gained any other things than sufferings. He added that there was no possibility for the Maoists to return to conflict, for which, no national, international or party condition was favorable.
He urged his party workers not to engage in factionalism, saying it will not do good to anyone.
Leader Oli is in on a visit of various districts of far west for the past few days. RSS
