DOTI, NOV 12 -
At least four people were killed when a jeep veered off the road and fell 500 metres at Chhati-wan VDC-1 on Bhimdutta Highway in Doti on Thursday night.
The dead have been identified as driver Janak Kunwar and Arjun Kunwar of Chaumala VDC and Sangita Nepali and Deusara Saud of Shreepur VDC in Kailali. According to Dan Bahadur Kunwar, Janak’s brother, the jeep was returning to Dhangadhi from Dadel-dhura. The vehicle was ferrying pilgrims to the Ugratara temple in the district.
