Fire comes under control after 9 hrs

The fire, which was started at a food store situated at Bharatpur Municipality-4, Ananda Marga, of Chitwan district on Monday midnight, came under control after nine hours.
Dantakali-Pashupati Food Store of a local Dinesh Rathi was caught by the fire at Monday midnight.
Two fire engines of Birgunj Sub-Metropolitan and one each from Hetauda and Bharatpur Municipality were brought to douse the fire. Police personnel and local residents had also helped to bring the fire under control.
According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, the fire destroyed various foods including pulses, rice, oil, peas, gram and soybean worth of around Rs. 50 million.
Police suspected that the store might have caught the fire due to short electric circuit.
The fire also damaged houses of Rathi and his neighbor Raj Kumar Shrestha. RSS
