'Disrespectful integration not acceptable'
JANAKPURDHAM, OCT 31 -
General Secretary of the UCPN (Maoist), Ram Bahadur Thapa, said that the disrespectful integration, rehabilitation, and management of Maoists Combatants was not acceptable to them.
Speaking at a press meet organised by Dhanusha chapter of Revolutionary Journalists' Association at Janakpur Airport, the Maoist leader said group integration, leadership of general directorate, integration of 8,000 to 10,000 including others should be the measuring factor for the respectful integration of PLA combatants.
In response to the journalists query for boycotting the party's Standing Committee meeting by the Baidhya faction on Sunday, he said there was no programme of the Standing Committee of the party for Sunday.
He said the Central Committee meeting of the party will make the party's official decision about the Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (BIPPA) signed with India by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai during his recent visit to India.
He defended his claim that Chairman of the UCPN-Maoist Pushpa Kamal Dahal met the representatives of Indian intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), saying, the meeting with any persons or organization should be made according to party plan and policy. RSS
