Two held with pistol from Pokhara
POKHARA, OCT 31 -
Police detained two persons on the charge of possessing a pistol from Pokhara in Kaski district on Monday.
Yam Bahadur Gurung aka ‘Santosh’, 34, of Rangbhang, Syangja, and Tej Bahadur Nepali, 23, of Buspark, Pokhara, were arrested with a Chinese pistol, two bullets and a magazine.
Last Tuesday, Gurung, in an inebriated mood, had threatened to kill his family members and neighbours showing a sword and a fake pistol. Police found that Gurung had a pistol in his possession, which he had given to Nepali, during investigation.
The arrestees were made public amid a press conference on Monday. Police are preparing to file a charge-sheet against the duo.
