Police recover fake currencies

GORKHA , OCT 31 - Police have confiscated 68 fake Nepali currency notes with Rs. 1,000 denomination from Kashigaun, a rural village of Gorkha district.
According to local teacher Upendra Ghale, a person who was involved in fake currency transaction, ran away leaving a bag when he was buying goods at a fair organized at Kashigaun after Tihar.
The police team from Aarughat recovered the fake currencies, citizenship of Bis Bahadur Gurung of Gumda VDC-5, Khanibesi.
According to In-charge of Aarughat Police Post, Krishna Bahadur Chhetri, the team confiscated 61 fake currency notes from the bag and seven pieces from market, which were given after buying goods. RSS
