JHAPA, OCT 30 -
A mother and her son died after being swept by Kankai River in Surunga of Jhapa district on Sunday morning.
The deceased, identified as Dipa Dhakal, 28, and her eight year old son Dipesh of Gauradaha in Jhapa district, were swept away while they were trying to cross it, eye witnesses informed.
Their bodies are sent to Mechi Zonal Hospital, Bhadrapur for autopsy, Inspector Megh Raj Adhikari informed.
