Grassroot course lands in Butwal

KATHMANDU, OCT 14 -

The FIFA (Federation of International Football Association) grassroot course, an ambitious project of the world football governing body, kicked off in Butwal on Thursday.

The five-day course falls on the official programme of FIFA and i is being organised by ANFA (All Nepal Football Association). Meanwhile, the project is conducted by Rupandehi District Football. A total of 24 various clubs and schools affiliated to Rupandehi District Association are participating in the course.

In the training period, the FIFA instructor and the coach of technical group coach, Vincent Subramanium from Singapore, will teach the participants about the various technical and logical aspects about playing the game.

Each day 50-100 football enthusiastic will be given football lessons and on October 16 more than 300 kids will take part in the football festival at FIFA Technical centre, Butwal.
