In yet another accident, four people have been killed and 31 others injured, eight of them critically, in separate bus accidents in Bara district on Friday
The accident occurred in Kalaiya-Birgunj road section when the bus (Na 3 Kha 2106) overturned while trying to save a person in cycle.
The deceased are identified as Mansoor Alam, 58, of Bishrampur-3, Bara, and Abadesh Ojha, 45, of Bhiswa, Birgunj, police inspector Gyanendra Basnet informed.
Earlier an over-speeding night bus (Na 3 Kha 4516) collided head-on a parked truck (Na 4 Kha 419) in wee hours this morning.
Bibek Shrestha, 18, and Rajdhani Shrivastav, 14, died in the mishap.
Critically injured passenger Rajkumar Shrivastav and bus driver Birodhi Poudel, 19, have been undergoing treatment at the B&B Hospital in the Capital.
Other injured in the accident have been receiving medical treatment at the Narayani Sub-Regional hospital and Kalaiya Hospital.
