BHADRAPUR, OCT 12 -
An elderly woman died as she fell off a motorcycle at Charpane-1 in Jhapa district, along the East-West highway, on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Bhagiratha Adhikari, 67, of Mechinagar-10, according to the District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa.
Police said the accident took place when Adhikari fall off the motorcycle (Ba 47 Pa 9875) heading towards east from west.
She died on the way to hospital for treatment.
Police have impounded the motorcycle and rider Nandu Adhikari (son of Baghiratha), 45, is also under police custody. RSS
