PM's directive to APF
DAMAULI, OCT 08 - Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has directed the Armed Police Force (APF) personnel in Damauli to work with honesty and dedication to the profession.
Visiting the APF Manakamana Battalion based in Bhanu VDC in Tanahun district on Saturday morning, he instructed the security personnel to work for the people.
Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai reached the APF battalion in course of attending a tea reception hosted by the battalion in his honour this morning. He was on the way to the Capital from his hometown Gorkha district after attending a programme there.
He spent some 40 minutes at the APF battalion.
"It would be the support to the prime minister and the government if you all perform your duty in a free and fair manner and with the sense of responsibility towards the people", said the Prime Minister.
Upon his arrival at the battalion, Prime Minster Bhattarai was welcomed by APF Deputy Inspector General Durja Kumar Rai. Senior Superintendent of Nepal Police Robindra Singh Deuja was also present on the occasion.RSS
