DANG, TULSIPUR , OCT 05 - A vehicle has reached Chhillikot of Bijauri VDC, a religious and tourism spot of dang for the first time, Tuesday.
The vehicle reached there after the construction of a 13 km road was completed at a cost of Rs. 5.1 million of the DDC Dang and the Ministry of Industry.
Locals welcomed the vehicle by garlanding and smearing vermilion to driver Mahavir Khadka of the vehicle Ra 1 Ja 340.
On the occasion, Chairman of the Chhillikot Tourism Development Committee, Purna Bahadur Pun, said the road will help develop agriculture, tourism and the religious sector. Earlier, locals and tourists had been facing problems to reach the tourism site.
Farmers had also been facing problems for bringing to market rare herb ‘malagedi’ and other herbs produced there.
The place is 16 kms from Bijauri of Tulsipur- Ghorahi Road. RSS
