President visits Shaktipeeths, offers worship

KATHMANDU, OCT 04 -
On the occasion of Mahaastami, the eighth day of the ten-day long Bada Dashain festival, President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav went to different Shaktipeeths or goddess temples in the capital to offer his prayers. The President offered worships in his capacity as the Head of the State.
In this connection, President Dr. Yadav visited Naxal Bhagawati Temple, Guheshwari Temple, Maitidevi Temple, Bhadrakali Temple, Shankata Temple and Shova Bhagawati Temple this morning to pay homage to the goddesses and received Tika and Prasad from the priests. RSS
