Sack ministers Sah, Bhandari: UML vice-chair
POKHARA, OCT 02 - CPN-UML Vice Chairman Bidhya Devi Bhandari has demanded the government sack Minister for Land Reforms and Management Prabhu Sah, who is accused of involving in a murder case, and Defence Minister Sarat Singh Bhandari for delivering “anti-national” statements
Speaking at a greeting exchange program on the occasion of Dashain festival organised by the Kaski district committee of the UML on Sunday, Bhandari said the constitution cannot be drafted and peace process cannot be taken to a logical end by sidelining the Nepali Congress and UML.
The former minister said that country’s political deadlock should be brought to end throughconsensus and agreement among the stakeholders concerned adding that country’s transition will not end by belittling one force by others.
Bhandari said the UML will never attempt to topple down the government and added that the party will either support or protest the Bhattarai-led government based on its performance.
On the occasion, UML alternative politburo member Khagaraj Adhikari and UML Kaski District Committee chief Man Bahadur GC also expressed their opinions.
