30 SSPs transferred
KATHMANDU, SEP 25 - The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) transferred 30 Senior Superintendent of Police (SSPs) on Sunday.
The ministry transferred the Zonal chiefs of Nepal Police as per the new standard set by the MoHA, sources said.
According to the ministry order sent to the Nepal Police Headquarters, those transferred are Hemanta Pal to Mechi Zone, Ramesh Phuyal to Koshi, Govinda Niraula to Sagarmatha, Madhav Joshi to Janakpur, Pashupati Upadhaya to Bagmati, Pankaj Shrestha to Narayani, Bam Bahadur Bhandari to Lumbini, Romendra Singh to Gandaki, Laxman Neupane to Dhaulagiri, Dhananda Bhatta to Rapti, Madhav Nepal to Bheri, Suresh KC to Karnali, Bijaya Bhatta to Seti and Sudip Acharya to Mahakali Zone.
Likewise, SSP Devendra Subedi, who was deployed at Drug Control Law Enforcement Unit in Naya Baneshwor, Kathmandu, has been transferred to the Crime Investigation Department and Nawaraj Silwal.
