'Party won't split over ideological differences'
KATHMANDU, SEP 24 -
UCPN (Maoist) leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the party would not split due to ideological differences within the party.
He said the dispute seen in the party concerning key handover issue was just a simple ideological difference and urged other political parties to desert the fallacy regarding the split of the party.
Speaking to the reporters in the Capital on Saturday, Mahara claimed that despite some differences, the party would not split.
Also on the occassion, Mahara said there was no alternative to forge consensus among the political parties and stressed on the unity among the parties.
He said a concrete draft on the peace process will be made public following the arrival of Prime Minister Babauram Bhattarai from New York.
